To be honest, I've never played SC before. I'm more of a Heroes of Might and Magic person. I'm still trying to add the Strike Freedom to HoMM3, though...

Is anyone good at math? I need to know how to put 9X^2 + 4Y^2 = 36 into my calculator. When I put something in it just gives me a line.

There should be an instruction booklet that came with the calculator. I think that there should be a "SHIFT" button that will let you access the different functions.

ah had some sushi for lunch today, nice to eat real food and not have to worry that its not on the diet (dang thing---still have it, doc says my yeasty boys are dying off---thats good news for me means that soon I can eat real food again).

another day and still more mox to do---only 7 more characters (I need the plat)....hubby got a realllllllllly bad cold when we got back from the uk---so he has been home sick with me (me not sick, plans to stay that way).

any food you wish to discuss in particular?????

You guys are making me hungry, but I have one strange as hell sore throat (it feels like there's solid bubbles in the back of my nose/throat...) and I don't feel like eating...

But sushi is awesome, pity it's incredibly expensive in this backwater hellhole area I live in.

... And I just realize that I keep drawing Gundam feet in my math homework, I've already done two now (Akatsuki's foot and the Freedom's foot/ankle)

Yay cosy! lol I had chicken strips and fries. The chicken strips were okay, a bit overcooked but the fries were good. So it wasn't too bad. lol

You know what sounds good? Brownies and ice cream... that sounds just good right now. It would just be awesome. But of course there is none of that around here. It is very sad.

I let someone in my lab group look at my lab for next week and they doodled all over it. >< Even after I told them to stop... so now I have doodles all over my lab. ><><><><

Beat the Special Cup on Mario Kart Wii today finally. Stupid Rainbow Road had been giving me fits. >.> So today I got 1st, 1st, then 12th on Bowsers Castle because I got knocked off right at the end, then got 2nd! on Rainbow Road. >< So I got second overall. Did not make me a happy camper. Tried it again and got 1st, 2nd, 1st, and 2nd! So I won. So happy!

I don't know what the doodles were, but if the doodles are chibi Gundams, then I'm probably your suspect...

Nah, just kidding. None of the classes I'm taking require me to do any labs. Even then, I don't doodle in other people's books because my doodles take on the scale of 1-8 hours to do.

Nah they were of some guy fishing. >.> They were not good and I was irritated with that.

I have 2 labs left after this semester so I'll be excited to be done with labs completely. They just take up WAY too much time.

Convert the equation into an expression of Y:

4Y^2 = 36 - 9X^2
Y^2 = 1/4(36 - 9X^2)
Y = [1/4(36-9X^2)]^1/2

Then insert that.

How did u get a line :O

That's an easy ellipse to graph by hand, domain, range, major axis, minor axis is all there right in front of you, why do u need to use a calculator??
